針對2019冠狀病毒病研製而成的兩種疫苗（Pfizer-BioNTech和Moderna），近日獲得美國食品及藥物管理局的批准，得以在美國廣泛使用；與此同時，其他疫苗的研發也正進行得如火如荼。可以預見，不久將有更多疫苗獲批面市。疫苗研發成功固然是好消息，但要戰勝病毒、重啟經濟，前路依然漫長。

歷史上很少有哪一年不到年中便已確定寫入史冊，成為歷史長河的分水嶺。2020年就是這樣的一年，而我們都身處其中、親歷其境。 一年前疫情還未出現的時候，全球經濟已受到好幾方面的趨勢影響。比較直接的是美國以國家安全為藉口的保護主義，具體表現在中美貿易戰上。但特朗普政府針對的不單是中國，還有其他貿易夥伴，甚至是以美國為首所建立的全球自由主義貿易體系。像世界貿易組織（WTO），因為美國屢次反對有關候選人的提名，目前既無總幹事又無貿易爭端上訴機構成員，偌大的國際組織形同虛設。

The recent Ant episode was a wake-up call.”

2008年10月，一個名叫中本聰的作者，將一篇論文傳到一個密碼學的電郵名單，其中詳細解釋如何構建一個去中心化的數字資產。2009年1月，第一批這樣的資產誕生了，正是今天鼎鼎大名的比特幣。 比特幣在誕生早期價格非常廉宜，曾經有用5000個比特幣購買一個意大利薄餅的紀錄。這個食客現在一定會後悔，本文執筆之時，每個比特幣價值約為19000美元，那個薄餅現價相當於7.4億港元！ 比特幣有兩個優點。第一，它的總數是有一個數學上限的，並不如政府發行的貨幣沒有上限；政府濫發貨幣後果可大可小，輕則侵蝕貨幣的價值，重則引發經濟危機，甚至產生戰亂。第二，比特幣以匿名方式持有和使用，這固然會吸引犯罪分子，但同時也會是熱愛自由和重視保護私有產權的人所嚮往。

It has not taken long for the wheels to come off the Belt and Road Initiative. As recently as May 2017, China’s leader Xi Jinping stood in Beijing before a hall of nearly 30 heads of state and delegates from over 130 countries and proclaimed “a project of the century”.

近年網上眾籌平台如雨後春荀般湧現，隨社交媒體Facebook開放個人募款功能，部分人士亦以個人網頁形式進行眾籌。港大經管學院首席講師（創新及資訊管理學）丁超表示，社交媒體跟網上眾籌平台性質不同，社交媒體的眾籌模式以捐獻性質為主，但網上眾籌平台主要集中在預售產品層面。

2020年对全球市场来说都是不寻常的一年，全球主要股市经历了过山车式的变化，中国A股和港股的走势也出现了较大的分歧。根据彭博数据显示，截止11月30日，代表中国A股市场的沪深300指数上涨了23.69%，而代表香港股票市场的恒生指数则下跌了5.75%。A股和港股表现的差异也体现在了恒生AH股溢价指数在今年大幅攀升。
