Memorable Moments from the 2026 HKU Reunion at The Races!

We are thrilled to share highlights from this year’s HKU Reunion at the Races, which once again brought together our vibrant alumni community at Sha Tin Racecourse!

On June 7th, 11 HKU-named races took centre stage, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie among alumni, faculty, and friends of HKU Business School. This year, we were especially pleased to welcome our distinguished partners, and representatives from our  Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland Alumni Chapters, adding fresh perspectives and energy to this cherished tradition.

Hosted by Prof. Pingyang Gao, Associate Dean (Research and Knowledge Exchange), Zhang Yonghong Professor in Accounting Professor, DBA Programme Director, it was a day filled with reconnecting, shared stories, and laughter—celebrating the strong bonds that unite the HKU family.

Thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Reunion at The Races so special. We look forward to creating more memories together in the years ahead!

However, a key question remains: can these AI agents actually make profitable decisions in real-world, unpredictable environments? To test this, the Artificial Intelligence Evaluation Lab (AIEL) at HKU Business School, led by Professor Jack Jiang, launched Agentic Trader, through which they evaluated the autonomous trading capabilities of LLM agents in live foreign exchange markets.
