Congratulations to Prof. Jin Li for winning the 2026 Weinberg/IRRCi Research Paper Award!

Prof. Jin Li, Zhang Yonghong Professor in Economics and Strategy, Director of the Centre for AI, Management and Organization (CAMO) of the University of Hong Kong, and Area Head of Management and Strategy at HKU Business School has won the 2026 John L. Weinberg/IRRCi Research Paper Award, presented at the Corporate Governance Symposium hosted by the Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance of the University of Delaware.

This award recognizes outstanding scholarship in corporate governance and investor-related issues. Prof. Li’s co-authored paper titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Boardroom” analysed how the use of artificial intelligence affects the monitoring and advisory relationship between CEOs and corporate boards, as well as how AI can serve as an advisor to CEOs. The paper is recognized for its innovative insights and significant contributions to advancing global understanding of corporate governance.

HKU Business School Launches the First Wealth Management Academy | Nurturing Future Leaders and Strengthening Hong Kong’s Global Leadership
Hong Kong surpassed Switzerland to become the world's largest cross-border wealth management centre. As demand for talent continues to grow, HKU Business School, with the support of Bank of China (Hong Kong), has established the first university-led Wealth Management Academy (the Academy) and successfully held its inauguration ceremony on 8 September. This significant milestone brought together more than 180 business leaders, academics, and industry experts.
