We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of HKU-Nestlé Hong Kong Joint University Case Competition 2026. This annual flagship event, organised by the HKU International Case Society (HICS), a student-run organisation supported by HKU Business School, invited 15 top undergraduate teams from The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. It served as a platform for students to showcase their case cracking, analytical, and presentation skills.

The Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) HKU Chapter proudly hosted its induction ceremony on 16 April 2026 at the HKU iCube. The event marked the induction of 129 exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate students into the esteemed ranks of Beta Gamma Sigma. Additionally, Professor Patrick Nip Tak-kuen, GBS, JP, Adjunct Professor at The University of Hong Kong and a highly experienced senior official dedicated to public service and governance, was awarded the prestigious title of BGS HKU Chapter Honoree.

We are delighted to celebrate the successful conclusion of the inaugural AI in Accounting Case Competition, co-organised by the HKU Business School and the the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Hong Kong, held on 11 April 2026. This new initiative stands as a testament to the HKU Business School's commitment to nurturing young talent in the accounting profession, where artificial intelligence is empowering practitioners to drive smarter, more resilient business decisions in an increasingly complex and fast-moving landscape. 

HKU Business School is proud to recognise colleagues who have gone above and beyond in service and administration during the 2024–25 academic year — the very first cohort honoured with this award.

We are thrilled to celebrate the successful conclusion of the HKU-Accenture Business Consulting Programme 2025–26 on 28 March 2026. Building on seventh years success, the Programme continues to empower students with industry insights, hands-on consulting experience, and essential skills, bringing university learning to life through real-world applications.
