HKU Business School hosted the BBA(IBGM) 20th Anniversary Event on 28 March 2026 at the Rayson Huang Theatre — a landmark evening celebrating two decades of the International Business and Global Management (IBGM) programme.
Teams of four current undergraduate students, Ms. Natalie Hung [Year 5 – BBA(Law)&LLB], Mr. Benson Lau [(Year 4 BBA(IBGM), Mr. Spencer Paddy [Year 5 – BBA(Law)&LLB], and Ms. Joy Sun [Year 4 -BEcon&Fin] - have been selected by the Faculty as student representatives to attend the Beta Gamma Sigma Leadership Conference 2026, held at IQS School of Management from February 23-24, 2026.
We are thrilled to announce that HKU Business School has been ranked No. 6 globally and No. 1 in Asia in the 2025 UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, compiled by the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Moreover, for the 5-year period of 2021-2025, the School also ranks No. 1 in Asia.
The HKU Business School buzzed with energy and a spirit of collaboration as it hosted its Annual Reception with the Dean for Student Associations on March 3, 2026. The event brought together undergraduate student leaders and senior academic members for insightful dialogue, innovative ideas, and strengthened partnerships, all aimed at enriching the undergraduate experience.
On 20 March, our Undergraduate Students and Alumni Mixer Event 2026 brought together curious students and engaging alumni for an evening filled with learning, insights, and meaningful connections.
Prof. Jin Li, Zhang Yonghong Professor in Economics and Strategy, Director of the Centre for AI, Management and Organization (CAMO) of the University of Hong Kong, and Area Head of Management and Strategy at HKU Business School has won the 2026 John L. Weinberg/IRRCi Research Paper Award, presented at the Corporate Governance Symposium hosted by the Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance of the University of Delaware.
