自今年初,第五輪疫情、Omicron變種新冠肺炎病毒在香港迅速蔓延。截至昨天,檢測確認的陽性個案已增至超過20萬宗,累計死亡個案達841例,病例增長的速度已遠超醫療機構及隔離設施的承受能力,專家亦相信實際感染數字遠比官方的確診數字要高,未來數周確診及死亡數字將會持續上升,全民檢測看來勢在必行。
