Raffles Family Office & HKU Business School Supporting Future Leaders

On July 23, a promising group of HKU Business School next-generation talents was united together by our longstanding generous donor, Raffles Family Office, at their beautiful Hong Kong headquarters in Central to celebrate the “Raffles Family Office Future Leader Ceremony 2026.”

We are grateful for the continued support of our passionate philanthropic partner, Raffles Family Office, as the donor of the Raffles Family Office Future Leader Scholarship for the past five consecutive years and counting. Not only has this flagship scholarship programme supported some of our best and brightest students financially, but it has also instilled in them the confidence to develop their careers and personal growth with a shining stamp of recognition from one of Asia’s leading family offices. It was a true pleasure to have their past scholarship awardees invited to share their gratitude and journey with Raffles Family Office staff and interns at this uplifting occasion.

“Receiving this scholarship meant a lot to me,” reflected Ms. Elaine Pui. “Knowing that someone believed in my potential gave me a real boost.” Another scholarship recipient, Mr. Albert Cheng, echoed “The award is about having the recognition and knowing that someone believes in me for my development and growth.”

The Raffles Family Office Future Leader Scholarship has also supported students with soaring new opportunities to study abroad and broaden their horizons.

Ms. Hazel Wong, a Bachelor of Finance in Asset Management and Private Banking graduate shared her journey, remarked “This scholarship did not just support my education. It opened doors, expanded my worldview, and gave me the motivation to grow into the person I am today. One of the memorable experiences that was made possible by this scholarship was my exchange at Copenhagen Business School.”

Mr. Cedric Poon, a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Global Management student also expressed his gratitude, adding that the scholarship “provided me with the opportunity to explore the world through oversea exchanges, develop my career goals and aspirations, and advance my growth.”

Mr. Justin Chung, a former summer intern at Raffles Family Office as well as their scholarship recipient, rounded out the touching student testimonials beautifully by sharing, “With the financial support, it gave me the confidence to prepare for CFA exam. It is not about the amount, but the feeling that my progress was recognised and someone actually believed in my journey.”

Once again, thank you so much to Mr. Chi-man Kwan and the entire Raffles Family Office team for their unwavering support and belief in the transformative power of education. We look forward to our continued collaboration in identifying, nurturing, and propelling Hong Kong’s global business leaders of tomorrow!
