HKU BGLIS Students Win Silver at AIX Origin Summit 2026 Hackathon
A six-member team of first-year students from the inaugural cohort of the BGLIS programme (Bachelor of Global Leadership, Innovation and Society) at HKU Business School has won the Silver Award at the AIX Origin Summit 2026 Hackathon with “EvoHealth”, an AI-powered platform that helps people understand their everyday health data.

The team — Steven, Edison, Eric, Claire, Aaron and Arnold — developed EvoHealth during the competition. The platform connects wearable health records with the subjective context that devices cannot capture: it aligns data from Android and Wear OS devices, identifies time-dependent signals, and asks structured follow-up questions with traceable write-back. Rather than confronting users with more scattered numbers, EvoHealth turns raw health data into understandable, traceable and meaningful questions — for example, how caffeine, sleep or daily routines relate to changes in resting heart rate.
