HKU Business School Announces the Official Launch of the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub

HKU Business School announced the official launch of the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub in Tel-Aviv, Israel on August 1, 2022. Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of HKU Business and Professor Roni Michaely, Founder and Executive Director of the Hub delivered welcome speeches at the ceremony, and celebrated this momentous occasion with numerous alumni, corporate partners and distinguished guests.

As an extended arm of HKU Business School to strengthen our impact globally, the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub is dedicated to deepening engagements between the academic, business and technology communities of Israel, Greater China and Hong Kong, promoting cross-border collaborations and partnerships. The Hub also offers unique programmes to foster educational exchange, technological innovation, and investment opportunities, enabling us to become an incubator for business talent.

HKU Business School and University of Glasgow jointly organises the “Smith Around the World Lecture Series” to mark Adam Smith’s Tercentenary
HKU Business School is pleased to collaborate with the University of Glasgow, with the support from the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, to jointly organise the Smith Around the World Lecture Series (the Lecture), which was held successfully at the University of Hong Kong today. In celebration of Adam Smith’s tercentenary, the Lecture was titled “Triumph of the Market: What China’s past and present tell us”, covering the relationship between the rise to prominence of the southern coastal regions in China and the Smithian growth drivers.
