HKU Business School and Deloitte China Collaborate to Nurture Future Talent for Emerging Business Opportunities in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area

(14 August, 2024, Hong Kong) HKU Business School and Deloitte China announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) to strengthen their academic and corporate collaborations, with the aim to nurture future generations for growing business opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

 

Professor Derek CHAN, Associate Dean (Undergraduate) of HKU Business School, and Mr. Edward AU, Southern Region Managing Partner of Deloitte China, signed the MoU with Professor Winnie LEUNG, Assistant Dean (Undergraduate) of HKU Business School, Professor Xin WANG, Area Head of Accounting and Law of HKU Business School, Professor Lilian CHAN, BBA (Acc&Fin) / BBA (ADA) Programme Director of HKU Business School, Professor Derrald STICE, BBA (Acc&Fin) / BBA (ADA) Deputy Programme Director and Admissions Tutor of HKU Business School, Ms. Yolanda LAM, Head of Communications of HKU Business School, Dr. Norman SZE, Vice Chair of Deloitte China, Ms. Winnie SHEK, Tax Partner and Southern Region Talent Partner of Deloitte China, Mr. CHAN Yat-Man, IT Audit & Assurance Partner of Deloitte China, Ms. Winsome LEUNG, Southern Region Human Resources Director of Deloitte China, and Mr. Adrian TO, Managing Partner Office Senior Manager of Deloitte China, witnessing the signing ceremony.

The collaborations include a mentoring programme and knowledge sharing sessions conducted by seasoned Deloitte professionals to provide practical industry guidance and equip students of HKU Business School to navigate the dynamic business landscape. The two parties will also work together to offer HKU Business School students local and regional industry exposure and career development support through internship programme, business practicum and the provision of graduate recruitment opportunities.
