EMBA-Global Asia Programme Ranks the World’s No. 2 Joint Programme in QS Global EMBA Rankings 2019

(April 16, 2019 – Hong Kong)  EMBA-Global Asia programme, the influential partnership between Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong (HKU Business School), London Business School and Columbia Business School, is ranked No.2 joint EMBA programme in the Global EMBA Rankings conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).  This is the second consecutive year that the programme is listed among top three in the world.

This year, the QS Global EMBA Rankings evaluates a total of 156 programmes on the basis of a series of key indicators: employer reputation, thought leadership, executive profile, diversity and career outcomes.  HKU Business School’s EMBA-Global Asia scored a perfect score of 100.0 on both employer reputation and thought leadership, and achieved the second highest overall score among all joint programmes.

Launched in 2009, this distinguish programme equips globally focused executives and managers with a unique blend of expertise, networks and multifaceted perspectives that will deepen their understanding of Western and Eastern business practices and prepare them for leadership success.

The 6th HKU Quarterly Forum on Chinese Economy, hosted by HKU Business School’s Institute of China Economy (ICE), in collaboration with the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Hong Kong, was held on 16 April.
