Student Sharing:

The ISM-HK Student Case Competition offered me a precious opportunity to network with supply chain professionals and experts, gaining insight into how they approach similar complex problems that involve sustainability, supply chain, corporate risk, and various departments within the company. Such complicated problems often involve cooperation and understanding to mitigate and solve them, in which we learnt greatly from the judges and other teams’ presentations.”

The ISM-HK Student Case Competition opened a new door for me in the supply chain management and procurement sector. Previously, I had never worked on any supply chainrelated cases, and this certainly helped me formulate a high-level overview of how an aviation company’s backend supply chain functions. Huge thanks to the judges’ reflections in the semi-finals and the finals who raised important questions to help us construct a more comprehensive solution in solving supply chain related issues.
