HKU Business School collaborates with Airstar Bank Limited to organise the HKU-Airstar Bank Joint University Case Competition 2024 in April 2024. This competition is the annual signature event of HKU International Case Society (HICS), a student-run organisation supported by the School which aims at facilitating mutual learning, networking, and a constant exchange of ideas among like-minded individuals. Students who participated in the competition are anticipated to strengthen their case competition techniques.
The competition comprises the Preliminary Round, Division Round and Grand Final Round. After the Preliminary Round selection, 16 shortlisted teams from 4 participating institutions will attend an industry talk offered by Airstar Bank to gain better insight into the business of Airstar Bank as well as the FinTech industry before case cracking. Apart from HICS members from HKU Business School, undergraduate students from City University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will take part in this competition to compete for the Championship.
