HKU Business School has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Argaam Investment Company (Argaam), a leading financial intelligence platform in the Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, to enrich specialized training programmes in the financial sector.

This strategic partnership opens new horizons in developing and delivering high-quality programmes tailored for executive leaders and investor relations (IR) professionals, leveraging the strong standing of the University of Hong Kong, one of the world’s leading institutions in education and leadership development, and Argaam’s expertise in the region.

Under the MoU, HKU Business School will lead the design, development, and delivery of the academic curricula while Argaam, together with other local partners in Saudi Arabia, will promote and introduce the programmes across the Gulf region.

Among the initial programmes to be launched are the Executive Investor Relations Programme in Saudi Arabia and the International Investor Relations Programme – Hong Kong edition.

Both parties will also join hands to organise high-level educational and training events and explore future opportunities to co-design new programmes that cater for both regional and global markets.

Commenting on this partnership, Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of HKU Business School, stated:

“We are delighted to collaborate with Argaam Investment to expand the reach of our executive programmes in the region. We are committed to delivering an innovative educational experience that meets the aspirations of Saudi and Gulf leaders and contributes to building global competencies.”

Islam Zween, CEO of Argaam Investment, added:

“This partnership marks an important milestone in Argaam’s journey from being a data provider to a supporter of business leaders in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, empowering them with world-class tools that strengthen their standing and advance IR practices in line with the highest international standards.”
