Ashley Yunhui Wang joined HKU Business School as a Research Assistant Professor in 2024. Her research develops theoretically grounded explanations of emerging digital phenomena and uses insights from these phenomena to advance theory. Her work focuses on multimodal communication in digital commerce and human–AI collaboration. She supports this theoretical work through rigorous empirical examination, particularly through machine learning and multimodal data analysis, alongside experiments and surveys.
