Biography

Yiwei Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at HKU Business School, The University of Hong Kong. Prof. Li’s research examines how firms use management control systems and internal labor markets to match people to jobs and teams when information about fit is scarce. Using field experiments and proprietary personnel data, he studies mechanisms such as internal mobility, delegated decision rights, and team assignments. Li received a PhD in Accounting and Management from Harvard Business School.
