Biography
Dr. Luo joined HKU in 2025. Prior to joining HKU, he worked at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Teaching interests of Dr. Luo cover core courses of accounting and finance for various types of students including undergraduate students, Master of Accounting, MBA, EMBA and executive students. Dr. Luo received two Teaching Excellence Awards and a Teaching Scholarship at Peking University. His online course “Accounting Principles” was recognized as National First-Class Undergraduate Online Course by Ministry of Education (China) in 2020. His research predominantly explores how various stakeholders affect a Chinese firm’s accounting information quality, manager incentives and corporate governance.
