Mr. Tong is a Chartered Accountant qualified with KPMG in London and a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”), and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. degree, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Tong has extensive multi-national industry experience in FMCG retailing, restaurants and fast-food franchises, engineering and construction, shipping and aviation services, IT services and products distribution, and motor vehicle dealerships. He was also heavily involved with Human Resources in the recruitment and coaching of management trainees and qualified professionals, performance evaluation and design of short- and long-term incentive schemes for senior management while working in the conglomerate. His business network covers the major professional accounting firms, many business partners, suppliers and service providers, public sector and non-profit making organizations. He is a speaker and presenter at many professional associations and tertiary institutions.
