About the Speaker – Mr. Paul Chan

Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Philosophy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and a Master of Science Degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was once a part-time lecturer at the Department of Government and Public Administration at CUHK, Political Assistant to Secretary for Food and Health, HKSAR Government (2008 to 2012), and a presenter and commentator at Radio Television Hong Kong. Paul is now Co-founder & CEO of Walk In Hong Kong, a cultural enterprise that curates immersive and memorable experiences.

Walk in Hong Kong is the city’s leading cultural enterprise. Founded in 2013, it specializes in curating immersive experiences for tourism, commercial brand building, corporate social responsibility and educational initiatives. It also conducts heritage consultancy and advocacy.

In 2016, Walk in Hong Kong’s multi-talented team successfully lobbied for a Grade 1 historic building status for State Theatre in North Point, an internationally unique piece of architecture and the last grand icon of the heyday of Hong Kong cinema. In 2017, Walk in Hong Kong won the HSBC Youth Business Gold Award, an important recognition of our enterprising effort.
