This 4-hour workshop aim to refresh and enhance students’ Business English spoken communication skills specifically for socializing with English speakers. The students were equipped with the right approach to present different topics and communicate their ideas in a confident, consistent, logical and interesting way. The course provided invaluable reference materials and offered plenty of drills and interactions to train learners in realistic business environments.

Day 1 – Successful Socializing with Foreigners (I)

• Introduction / Greeting and Small talk
• Showing interest
• Making a personal comment
• Thinking time and turn-taking

Day 2 – Successful Socializing with Foreigners (II)

• Marking requests / Offering help
• In a restaurant / Describing food
• Dialogue building
• Cross Cultural Areas
