Two current Undergraduate Students, Mr. Christopher Lee [Year 4 – BBA(IS)], and Mr. Leslie Li [(Year 4 BFin(AMPB)] have been nominated by the Faculty as student representatives for attending the Cultivating Authentic Leadership Beta Gamma Sigma Conference in Washington, D.C. from 8-10 February 2024.

The 2024 Cultivating Authentic Leadership Conference boasts a comprehensive program comprising keynote sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and other engaging activities carefully curated to facilitate an in-depth exploration of the realm of Authentic Leadership for all student representatives. Additionally, the conference provides invaluable networking opportunities, enabling BGS members to connect with accomplished leaders and fellow members from across the globe. Beta Gamma Sigma is The International Business Honor Society recognising and honouring top performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The Beta Gamma Sigma HKU Chapter was established in 2012.

Members of Beta Gamma Sigma are the top 10% of undergraduate students, top 20% of graduate students and all doctoral candidates that have successfully defended their dissertation at an AACSB accredited business school. 港大经管学院及香港大学中国经济研究所于4月26日举办第二届中国经济季度论坛,邀请中诚信集团创始人、港大经管学院经济学实务教授毛振华教授担任专题演讲嘉宾,发表以「当前中国经济走势与政策调整」为题的主题报告。港大经管学院副院长(对外事务)、冯国经冯国纶基金经济学教授兼香港经济及商业策略研究所副总监邓希炜教授亦于会上分享「新全球化下中国经济未来发展的挑战及机遇 」的主题演讲。随后,港大经管学院院长兼经济学讲座教授蔡洪滨教授与学者及行业专家,透过圆桌会议一同探讨中国经济当前的热点话题、分享真知灼见。论坛与香港南开校友会合办,于香港大学创立方举行,吸引近两百位商界领袖、杰出学者、校友和学生出席。
