港大經管學院於UTD研究排名亞洲第一 「金融學研究」晉身全球第五

港大經管學院欣然宣布,學院於UTD研究排名亞洲第一,而「金融學研究」更晉身全球第五,成績斐然。此排名是根據各院校在2021年間,在世界最頂尖24本商學學術期刊 (UTD24期刊) 中發表的論文數量,以及作者貢獻度進行計算。

UTD (美國德克薩斯州大學達拉斯分校的管理學院) 透過緊貼追蹤自1990年起刊登於UTD24期刊的學術文章,於2005年開始編制全球前100名的商學院排名。UTD24期刊涵蓋管理科學、會計學、金融、市場學、信息系統、策略管理、組織科學、國際商務等商學院的主要研究領域,廣受世界各大院校認可,是評價全球商學院國際研究排名的權威性指標。

EMBA-Global Asia programme ranks Top 4 in the World by Financial Times

(November 21, 2019 – Hong Kong) 

The HKU Business School’s dynamic partnership with London Business School and Columbia Business School, EMBA-Global Asia programme, is ranked No. 4 in the annual Financial Times Executive MBA ranking.  The Programme has been ranked among top four in the world for three consecutive years.

 

The league table ranks the top 100 Executive MBA programmes in the world.  The ranking takes into account a combination of 16 metrics and is based on an alumni survey with various measures, including salary on graduation, career progression, how the Programme has lived up to expectations, and percentage salary increase three years after graduation.

 

HKU Business School’s EMBA-Global Asia programme scored strongly on the metric of salary increment, with an average salary received by graduates reaching US$338,725 per annum, representing a growth of 98%.  The Programme’s appeal was also boosted by graduates’ career progress, which jumped to the 3rd place, and international course experience, which further improved to the 2nd place from the 5th in 2018.

EMBA-Global Asia Programme Ranks the World’s No. 2 Joint Programme in QS Global EMBA Rankings 2019

Immediate Release

(April 16, 2019 – Hong Kong)  EMBA-Global Asia programme, the influential partnership between Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong (HKU Business School), London Business School and Columbia Business School, is ranked No.2 joint EMBA programme in the Global EMBA Rankings conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).  This is the second consecutive year that the programme is listed among top three in the world.

This year, the QS Global EMBA Rankings evaluates a total of 156 programmes on the basis of a series of key indicators: employer reputation, thought leadership, executive profile, diversity and career outcomes.  HKU Business School’s EMBA-Global Asia scored a perfect score of 100.0 on both employer reputation and thought leadership, and achieved the second highest overall score among all joint programmes.

HKU MBA Programme Ranked No. 1 in Asia for the 9th Consecutive Year

In the latest World MBA Rankings released by The Economist1 today, the MBA Programme offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong (HKU Business School) has been awarded No.1 in Asia for the ninth consecutive year since 2010.

EMBA-Global Asia Programme Ranks the Best Joint Programme in the World in QS Global EMBA Rankings 2018

The HKU Faculty of Business and Economics’s influential partnership with London Business School and Columbia Business School is ranked the top joint EMBA programme in the Global EMBA Rankings conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in April 2018.

As mentioned in the QS report, the EMBA-Global Asia programme, synergizing the strengths of three prestigious business schools, enables students to “benefit from unique insights and gain a truly global perspective”.

This year, QS refined and improved its methodology to better reflect the EMBA landscape for students, with more emphasis on employers' feedback and research expertise.  The QS Global EMBA Rankings evaluates a total of 142 programmes on the basis of five key indicators: career outcomes, diversity, employer reputation, executive profile and thought leadership. The Faculty’s EMBA-Global Asia scored strongly across all dimensions and achieved the highest overall score among all joint programmes.

The management from the three business schools, including Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics, HKU; Professor François Ortalo-Magné, Dean of London Business School; and Ms. Kelley Martin Blanco, Assistant Dean, EMBA Programs and Dean of Students, Columbia Business School, together with guests, teachers, students and alumni enjoyed a cocktail reception to commemorate the success.
