On 12 May 2026, The HKU Business School AI Evaluation Lab (AIEL) has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with JIANAI PTY LTD, an AI infrastructure platform for life sciences headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, to explore possible academic and research collaboration in areas related to artificial intelligence (AI) evaluation, responsible AI, AI governance, privacy-preserving AI, and healthcare/life-sciences AI.
The MOU was signed in Hong Kong in connection with the Asia Summit on Global Health. The signing was witnessed by His Excellency Scott Dewar, Australian Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.
