On October 25, 2025, Professor Zhenhui (Jack) Jiang was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Evaluating the Reasoning Capabilities of Large Language Models in the Chinese Context" at the 2025 Annual Conference of the China Association for Information Systems (CNAIS).
On October 25, 2025, the "CNAIS 2025 Annual Conference and 20th Anniversary Commemoration," hosted by the China Association for Information Systems (CNAIS) and organized by the School of Management at Beijing Institute of Technology, was grandly held in Beijing. Themed "Intelligent Leap and Management Innovation in the Era of Large Models," the conference attracted nearly 1,000 experts and scholars from over 100 universities, research institutions, and enterprises nationwide. The event featured academic exchanges across 27 major topics, alongside key segments such as the 20th-anniversary celebration activities.
That afternoon, Professor Zhenhui (Jack) Jiang delivered a report titled "Evaluating the Reasoning Capabilities of Large Language Models in the Chinese Context." Based on the evaluation framework developed by his team, he presented comprehensive comparative results covering 20 general-purpose models and 15 reasoning models. He highlighted the significant advancements of Chinese models in areas such as logical inference, contextual reasoning, and hallucination control. Emphasizing that "the era of reasoning large language models has already arrived," he called for the establishment of an artificial intelligence evaluation standard system tailored to the Chinese context.
