The HKU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, organized by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at the HKU Business School, is a vibrant platform that fosters creativity, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among aspiring entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and academics. Bio
Professor Bernard is an expert in international trade and investment and specializes in firm responses to globalization. In recent papers, he has documented the emergence of factory-less goods producers in the US, revisited traditional views of deindustrialization and explored the dynamics of new exporters and the role of intermediaries in global trade. His current research focuses on the evolution of global (and domestic) production networks and the consequences for firm performance.

Bio
Rema Hanna is the Jeffrey Cheah Professor of South-East Asia Studies and Chair of the International Development Area at the Harvard Kennedy School. She serves as the Faculty Director of Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at Harvard University’s Center for International Development and is the co-Scientific Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South East Asia Office in Indonesia. In addition, Professor Hanna is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and an affiliate of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD).
