With over 30 years of extensive experience in the financial industry, she has been instrumental\u00a0in deepening the Bank\u2019s client relationships and in enhancing its equities capability,\u00a0providing a comprehensive suite of services for clients. In April 2012, Ms Tan was\u00a0appointed Vice Chair, Asia accountable for governance and senior client coverage\u00a0for Corporate Banking in the region. Ms Tan has also been on the board of SCBHK\u00a0since 2009.<\/p><p>Before joining Standard Chartered, Ms Tan was the Chief Executive Officer of Cazenove Asia since 1993, and was a partner of Cazenove and Co. Cazenove Asia\u00a0became part of SCBHK on January 2009 and she seamlessly integrated Cazenove\u00a0Asia\u2019s cash equities and equity capital market business into the Bank.<\/p><p>Ms Tan has made significant contribution to Hong Kong through numerous public roles she has held. Ms Tan is Chairman of the Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited, and is\u00a0the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Banks. She is a member of the\u00a0Banking Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Ms Tan sits on the\u00a0Listing Committee and the Risk Management Committee of the Hong Kong\u00a0Exchanges and Clearing Limited and was a member of the Takeovers and Mergers\u00a0Panel and the Takeovers Appeal Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission during 2001-2013.
