During the five years of his tenure in this position, the business saw rapid growth and expansion while its branch network doubled and the smart banking concept took shape.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Lo joined Citi in 2000 as Head of Citigold, the retail bank\u2019s wealth management business. In 2001, he was appointed Head of Bankcard Marketing and was subsequently promoted to Country Marketing Director in 2002, with added role as Director of Retail Banking in 2003. In 2004, he took up the position of Chief Operating Officer while serving concurrently as the Director of Retail Banking. Mr&nbsp;Lo was named the \u2018Promising Young Banker of the Year for Hong Kong\u2019 by The Asian Banker in 2008. He was named \u2018CEO of the Year for Banking\u2019 in the BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards 2013 in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Citi, Mr&nbsp;Lo held senior positions in Coca-Cola China Ltd. and Procter and Gamble (HK) Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Lo&nbsp;currently serves as a member of the Banking Advisory Committee under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Chairman of the Financial and Treasury Services Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Other public service engagements include being a member in each of the following: the Financial Services Advisory Committee of HK Trade Development Council; the Council of the Treasury Markets Association; Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers; the Joint Committee on Student Finance for the Hong Kong SAR Government; the Committee on&nbsp;Financial Assistance Scheme for Family Members of Those Who Sacrifice Their Lives to Save Others under the Labour and Welfare Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government; Elected Member of the General Committee of The Employers\u2019 Federation of Hong Kong; Board of Directors of The Community Chest of Hong Kong; Board of Trustees and Fund Management Committee of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust; and HKU SPACE Business Studies Advisory Board.
