She\u2019s another impressive recipient of the Future Leader Scholarship 2023\u20132024 award. With a deep interest in human rights and international affairs, Angel spent the summer interning in Iraq and Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p>In Iraq\u2019s Kurdistan region, she supported research on human rights gaps, labour laws, and legal protections for minorities and displaced people. Then, in Lebanon, she worked under the Prime Minister\u2019s office to analyse the situation across refugee camps, monitor the situation in Gaza, and liaise with NGOs and donors.<\/p>\n<p>These experiences profoundly shaped her understanding of the region and realities of working in human rights.
