Dr. Yiwen ZHANG

 

On March 11, 2016, the Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) announced the award recipients of the 2014-15 Outstanding Researcher Awards scheme. The following paper of Dr Yiwen Zhang, Assistant Professor in Management and Strategy, has been awarded the Research Output Prize (ROP): 

Yiwen Zhang, Jeffery A. LePine, Brooke R. Buckman, and Feng Wei. “It's Not Fair … Or Is It? The Role of Justice and Leadership in Explaining Work Stressor–Job Performance Relationships”. Academy of Management Journal 2014, Vol. 57, No. 3, pp. 675-697.

The ROP is a Faculty-based award to honour the best research output from each Faculty.  This year, ten Research Output Prizes are conferred on the authors by the Faculties.

The ESG Challenge was an annual case competition organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) which aims to raise awareness among university students about the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in different industries. With the sponsorship from PwC, this year's competition focused on sustainability in the Food & Beverage industry with the theme – “Road to Sustainability”.

Over 100 outstanding students inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma HKU Chapter
Coming to its 12th year, the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) HKU Chapter has inducted 110 undergraduate and postgraduate students at the ceremony held on 19 April 2023. Esteemed business leader, Ms Christina Wong, the Manging Director of Strategy & Consulting Accenture of Greater China was conferred the BGS HKU Chapter Honoree.
