About

HKU Summer Accounting Conference 

The inaugural HKU Summer Accounting Conference will take place on July 5-6, 2025, at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) Business School. On July 4, we will hold a doctoral consortium, providing invited accounting doctoral students from around the world with the opportunity to learn from our distinguished lineup of professors.

For the conference, we welcome Professor Joanna Wu (University of Rochester) and Professor Anup Srivastava (University of Calgary) as our keynote speakers. In addition to keynote speeches, there will be eight research paper presentations with discussions. Here is the lineup of VIPs for the conference and doctoral consortium.

Registration

The registration fee is HKD2300 per person, which includes coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner. The fee is waived for the above VIPs, as well as HKU faculty members and PhD students. Participants are responsible for making their own transportation and accommodation arrangements. Registration Link
